FAQ

Questions, answered.

How Accordsign works, what Aadhaar eSign means for you, pricing, security, and Salesforce — the things people ask most before they sign up.

Getting started

What is Accordsign?
Accordsign is an eSignature platform that lets you send documents and get them signed securely, with a full audit trail on every document. It includes Aadhaar eSign for Indian signers and works natively inside Salesforce.
How does signing work?
You upload a document, add your signers, place the signature and other fields, and send. Signers receive a secure link and sign from their device — no account needed to sign. When everyone has signed, you get the completed document with its audit trail.
Do signers need an account to sign?
No. Signers receive a secure link and can sign without creating an Accordsign account.

Aadhaar eSign

Is Aadhaar eSign legally valid?
Yes. Aadhaar eSign is recognised as a valid electronic signature under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Aadhaar-signed records are admissible with their audit trail. Accordsign provides Aadhaar eSign via licensed eSign Service Providers. See how Aadhaar eSign works.
Who can use Aadhaar eSign?
Anyone with an Aadhaar number and an Aadhaar-linked mobile can sign using an OTP — no hardware or software to install.
Does Accordsign store Aadhaar numbers?
The Aadhaar authentication is performed through licensed eSign Service Providers. Accordsign is designed so that full Aadhaar numbers are not stored on its systems.
Can people without an Aadhaar sign?
Yes. Signers without an Aadhaar — for example NRIs or foreign counterparties — can use the standard electronic signature workflow, which is valid worldwide for most business documents. More on global e-signatures.

Bulk Send

What is Bulk Send?
Bulk Send lets you send the same document to many people at once, personalized to each one. Instead of a shared document or a group thread, every recipient gets their own individual copy — addressed to them, signed by them, with its own audit trail. See how Bulk Send works.
Can each recipient see the other recipients?
No. Each person receives their own copy of the document and sees only their own. There is no shared thread and no visible recipient list.
How many people can I send to at once?
Up to 500 recipients per send.
How do I personalize each copy?
Merge fields — for example name, class, or roll number — are filled in per recipient from the list you upload, so each copy comes out addressed to the right person.
Does everyone have to sign, or can we just send documents out?
Either. Recipients can sign their own copy; or your organisation signs once and recipients receive and acknowledge their copy; or both parties sign, for two-party documents. Signing uses the standard electronic signature — recipients draw, type, or upload their signature in the browser.
Which plans include Bulk Send?
Bulk Send is a Business-plan feature — included on Starter, Growth, and Enterprise. Compare Business plans.

Templates and contacts

What is the difference between shared templates and your free template library?
They are two different things. Shared templates are a feature inside Accordsign: you save one of your own documents together with its signer roles and reuse it in seconds, and everyone on your team sends the same approved version. The free template library is public sample paperwork — NDAs, offer letters, service agreements — that anyone can read and download without an account.
Which plans include shared team templates?
Reusable templates are available on every plan. Sharing them across a workspace, so the whole team sends the same approved version, is a Business-plan feature — included on Starter, Growth, and Enterprise. Compare plans.
What is contact management?
A built-in address book for the people you send documents to. Keep frequent recipients saved and add them to an envelope without retyping their details, which also removes the commonest cause of a document quietly going to the wrong address.
Which plans include contact management?
Every plan, Individual and Business alike.

Pricing

How much does Accordsign cost?
Accordsign offers pay-as-you-go Individual pricing (buy document credits, no subscription) and per-user Business plans (Starter and Growth) with more collaboration features. Current pricing is on our pricing page.
Is there a subscription lock-in?
The Individual plan is pay-as-you-go with no subscription. Business plans are monthly or annual per-user, with an annual saving.
Is there a free way to try it?
Yes — Accordsign offers a 14-day free trial with no card required, so you can try it before you pay. See the pricing page to get started.

Security & compliance

Is my document secure?
Documents are encrypted, and every signed document carries a tamper-evident audit trail recording who signed, when, and from where. More on how we handle security.
What is the audit trail?
A record attached to each document capturing the signing events — signer identity, action, timestamp and related metadata — so a completed document can be relied upon.

Salesforce & templates

Does Accordsign work with Salesforce?
Yes — Accordsign is a native Salesforce managed package, so you can send documents for signature directly from a Salesforce record. Explore the Salesforce app.
Can I reuse templates?
Yes. You can build reusable signing templates on any plan for your own use; on Business plans you can share templates across your workspace. Compare plans.
Do you offer free document templates?
Yes — a free library of NDAs, agreements, offer letters and more is available to download. Browse free templates.
