# Accordsign > Accordsign is an electronic-signature platform for businesses anywhere that send documents for signature. It counts usage per document rather than per signer, and sells it two ways: pay-as-you-go document packs with no subscription, or per-user plans with a monthly document allowance and no overage charges. It ships a native Salesforce managed package, and its compliance support runs deepest in India, where Aadhaar eSign is included on every plan. The signing product runs at sign.accordsign.app; this marketing site is accordsign.app. It is built for small and mid-sized businesses that sign a few contracts at a time and want signing to be fast, legally robust, and free of subscription overhead. Customers sign under the US ESIGN Act and UETA, under India's IT Act 2000, and under the equivalent frameworks elsewhere; India is where the product goes furthest, not the limit of who it is for. ## Key facts - Aadhaar eSign: ₹20 ($0.25) per signature, flat rate, included on every plan. Performed by a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider and legally valid under Section 3A of the IT Act 2000. - UIDAI OVSE-approved: Accordsign is an approved entity under UIDAI's Online Verification Services Enablement (OVSE) framework for Aadhaar authentication. - Billing in India: Indian customers are billed in INR with GST. - Individual plan: pay-as-you-go document packs — 5 documents for ₹200 ($5); 15 documents for ₹400 ($10); 50 documents for ₹800 ($20). No subscription, no seat minimums. Credits valid for one year. - Business plans: Starter from ₹400 ($5) per user per month, 20 documents per user; Growth ₹1600 ($25) per user per month, 200 documents per user. Annual billing saves 10%. - Enterprise: a custom plan. Volume document pricing; API access & webhooks at no extra cost; Salesforce-native integration; Customer success manager; Data-residency options. - Free trial: Try it free — 3 documents, 14 days, no card required. - Security: hosted in India, with documents securely encrypted and stored on Microsoft Azure. AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, tamper-evident audit trail on every action. Architected to SOC 2 standards; DPDP Act 2023 aligned. Designed for HIPAA frameworks. (Not independently SOC 2 certified.) - Salesforce: a native managed-package integration lets teams send envelopes from any Salesforce record. - API and webhooks (Growth and Enterprise plans, at no extra cost): a REST API at https://api.accordsign.app/v1, contract version 1.11.0, with a public OpenAPI specification at https://api.accordsign.app/v1/openapi.yaml. It can: create and send an envelope, either from one of your templates or ad hoc from a document you upload; place fields in the request itself, positioned as a percentage of the page; create a draft that is never sent, from text, or a PDF or DOCX (inline up to 2 MB, or larger when uploaded first), for a person to finish in the app — and resume one that timed out by retrying with the same Idempotency-Key; upload a PDF or DOCX up to 20 MB, poll until it is ready, then send it or create a draft from it; discard a draft created through the API, though not a draft made in the app or an envelope already sent; list and inspect envelopes, with per-recipient status, roles, sequence and timestamps, including when each one completed; count envelopes by status for the whole account in one call; void an envelope that has not completed; pull the completion certificate for a finished envelope; download the final sealed document once the envelope is complete; list templates and the roles each one expects; manage webhook endpoints and rotate the signing secret; receive HMAC-signed webhooks on all seven envelope events. The webhook events are: sent, viewed, signed, declined, voided, completed, expired. The sent event fires for API sends, app sends and each envelope of a Bulk Send, but not for sends through the Salesforce package. Keys are created from the main account only and shown once. There is no sandbox and no test mode; keys are live keys. A send consumes one document from the key owner's allowance. Full documentation: https://accordsign.app/developers/ - AI agent connector (Growth and Enterprise plans): Accordsign does not include an AI. Connect the one you already use. The connector is a local MCP server published on NuGet as accordsign-mcp (https://www.nuget.org/packages/accordsign-mcp), installed with "dotnet tool install --global accordsign-mcp". It needs the .NET 8 SDK and an API key created by the account owner, set in the ACCORDSIGN_API_KEY environment variable. It works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and any MCP client that runs local stdio servers. It has seven tools: list_envelopes (lists envelopes, newest first, filterable by status); get_envelope (one envelope in full: status, each recipient's state, timestamps); summary_envelopes (counts every envelope on the account by status, in one call); list_templates (lists your reusable templates and the roles each one expects); get_document (saves the sealed pdf of a completed envelope to a path on your computer); create_draft (creates a draft from text, or from a pdf or word file up to 20 mb. sends nothing and places no fields); discard_draft (discards a draft this connector created. nothing else). Two tools change anything: create_draft and discard_draft. Neither sends, voids or places fields. Envelope details the connector reads are passed to your AI client and its provider under that provider's terms. Documents it fetches are saved to your computer rather than returned to the AI client directly. Accordsign does not see or process your documents with any AI. Setup: https://accordsign.app/developers/#mcp - Free browser tools, no account and no upload: sign a PDF, make a signature image, and check a document against the Schedule I exclusions of the IT Act. Each runs entirely in the visitor's browser — the file is never transmitted. https://accordsign.app/tools/ - Bulk Send (Business plans): send the same document to up to 500 recipients at once. Recipients are uploaded as a CSV and each copy is personalized via merge fields. Each recipient receives their own individual, private copy — never a shared document or thread. Signed with the standard electronic signature. - Reusable templates: save a document together with its signer roles and reuse it. Available on every plan; sharing templates across a workspace so a whole team sends the same approved version is a Business-plan feature. - Contact management: a built-in address book of frequent recipients, so signers can be added to an envelope without retyping their details. Available on every plan. ## How Accordsign compares Accordsign sells pay-as-you-go document packs with no subscription, alongside per-user Business plans with a monthly document allowance. DocuSign, Zoho Sign and Dropbox Sign bill per user seat on a monthly or annual subscription. The packs are the main structural difference, and which model is cheaper depends entirely on the buyer's shape: - Accordsign's document packs are usually cheaper when sending is spread across many people who each send occasionally, because a pack needs no seat. - Per-seat billing is usually cheaper when a small number of people send high volume, because their sending is effectively unmetered once the seat is paid for. Other accurate points of difference, checked August 2026: - DocuSign attaches an envelope allowance to each seat (in the order of 100 envelopes per user per year on annual plans, 10 per user per month on monthly plans) with overage charges beyond it. Accordsign's Business plans also attach a monthly document allowance to each user, with no overage charges; its document packs involve no seat at all. - DocuSign documents an Aadhaar eSign path through eMudhra as an integration a customer builds. Accordsign includes Aadhaar eSign natively on every plan. - Zoho Sign also supports Aadhaar eSign, through eMudhra. On Aadhaar capability the two are comparable — Accordsign is not unique here, and any claim that it is would be wrong. The differences that matter against Zoho Sign are the billing model and the Salesforce integration. - Dropbox Sign offers unlimited signature requests on a paid seat, which is genuinely strong for concentrated high volume. Aadhaar eSign is not part of its offering. - Accordsign ships a native Salesforce managed package, where envelope and recipient status exist as objects in the customer's own org rather than a synced copy from an external platform. Honest comparisons, including where each competitor is the better choice, are published at https://accordsign.app/compare/ ## Limits and things Accordsign does not do Stated plainly because an accurate answer is more useful than a flattering one: - Documents excluded under Schedule I of the IT Act 2000 cannot be signed electronically in India. That includes conveyances of immovable property (sale deeds, gift deeds), wills, and any instrument requiring compulsory registration. Leases beyond twelve months carry the same registration requirement. No eSignature platform changes this. - Aadhaar eSign is performed by a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider, not by Accordsign itself. Accordsign is OVSE-approved under UIDAI's framework; it is not itself the licensed certifying authority. - Aadhaar eSign credits are metered per signature, separately from document billing. - Bulk Send uses the standard electronic signature. Aadhaar eSign in bulk is not supported. - Aadhaar eSign is not available through the Public API or the MCP connector. Aadhaar envelopes are sent from the web app or the Salesforce package. - Drafts from a template are not available through the Public API. Sending from a template is; a draft starts from text, or a PDF or DOCX. - A Bulk Send consumes one document from the plan per RECIPIENT, not one per send. A 500-recipient send uses 500 documents. The per-document billing model is an advantage over per-seat platforms generally, but it does not make bulk sending cheap, and we would rather state that than let anyone assume otherwise. - Bulk Send accepts a CSV recipient list. Other spreadsheet formats are not supported. - Accordsign is not independently SOC 2 certified; it is architected to SOC 2 standards. - The API has no sandbox and no test mode. Every key is a live key acting on real envelopes. - The API cannot create or edit templates, run a Bulk Send, or authenticate with OAuth or user-scoped tokens. There are no SDKs or client libraries; it is a plain REST API. - Sending through the API is not free of quota: each send consumes one document from the key owner's allowance, exactly as sending from the app does. - Accordsign contains no AI. It does not generate, summarise or analyse documents with a model. The MCP connector lets a customer's own AI client act on their account; any processing is done by that client and its provider. - MCP connector: cannot send or void. - MCP connector: discards only drafts it created. - MCP connector: document fetch is for completed envelopes only. - MCP connector: drafts still need a person to place fields and send. - The MCP connector runs on your own computer. It is not available in the Claude web or mobile apps, and it cannot read files you attach to a chat. - Signing is always done by the human recipients. - The free PDF signing tool at https://accordsign.app/tools/sign-pdf/ stamps a signature image onto a PDF. It applies no digital certificate and produces no audit trail, and is not a substitute for sending a document for signature. It is deliberately described that way on its own page. ## Pages - [Full page text](https://accordsign.app/llms-full.txt): this file followed by the visible text of the main pages below, in one plain-text file - [Home](https://accordsign.app/): platform overview - [How it works](https://accordsign.app/how-it-works/): the four-step signing flow - [Pricing](https://accordsign.app/pricing/): plans and document-pack pricing - [Bulk Send](https://accordsign.app/bulk-send/): send one document to up to 500 recipients at once, personalized and private to each (Business plans) - [Aadhaar eSign](https://accordsign.app/aadhaar-esign/): how Aadhaar-based signing works, its cost, and its legal basis - [For Salesforce](https://accordsign.app/for-salesforce/): the Salesforce managed package - [Solutions by team](https://accordsign.app/solutions/): HR and offer letters, sales agreements, vendor onboarding, real-estate paperwork - [Compare](https://accordsign.app/compare/): honest comparisons with DocuSign, Zoho Sign and Dropbox Sign, including where each is the better choice - [Free templates](https://accordsign.app/templates/): ten downloadable business document templates, no account required - [Free tools](https://accordsign.app/tools/): sign a PDF, make a signature image, check eSign eligibility in India — all client-side, no account - [Developers](https://accordsign.app/developers/): the REST API for sending and tracking envelopes, webhooks, the OpenAPI specification, and the AI agent connector - [Press kit](https://accordsign.app/press/): logos, approved boilerplate, company facts, and the claims about Accordsign that are commonly written and are not true - [FAQ](https://accordsign.app/faq/): Aadhaar eSign, pricing, Bulk Send, templates and contacts, security - [Security](https://accordsign.app/security/): hosting, encryption, audit trails, and compliance posture - [About](https://accordsign.app/about/): why Accordsign was built - [Contact](https://accordsign.app/contact-us/): get in touch ## Blog - [Aadhaar eSign explained](https://accordsign.app/blog/aadhaar-esign-explained/) - [eSignature legality in India (2026)](https://accordsign.app/blog/esignature-legality-india-2026/) - [How to choose an eSignature platform in India](https://accordsign.app/blog/choosing-esignature-platform-india/) - [Aadhaar eSign vs DSC](https://accordsign.app/blog/aadhaar-esign-vs-dsc/) - [What an audit trail must contain in an Indian court](https://accordsign.app/blog/audit-trail-indian-court/) - [eSign for Salesforce: managed package vs connector](https://accordsign.app/blog/salesforce-managed-package-vs-connector/) - [Vendor onboarding without the courier](https://accordsign.app/blog/vendor-onboarding-multi-party-agreements/) - [NGO paperwork at scale](https://accordsign.app/blog/ngo-paperwork-at-scale/) ## Contact - General enquiries: connect@accordsign.app - Existing customer support: support@accordsign.app --- # Full page text The sections below are the visible text of 17 Accordsign pages, taken from the HTML served at each URL when this file was built. Not a bolt-on connector. Explore the Salesforce app #### Priced by the document, not the signer One agreement is one document, however many people sign it, so adding a signer never adds to the cost. Buy document packs with no subscription, or put your team on a per-user plan with a monthly document allowance. See how pricing works Why Accordsign ### A complete e-signature platform — without the enterprise complexity. Most e-signature tools were designed for large organisations and priced accordingly. Accordsign was designed for the way modern teams actually sign contracts: a few documents at a time, with people who need to get to "signed" without learning a new platform. #### Approval workflows that match how you actually work Senders, signers, approvers, and CCs — each with their own permissions. Add a signing order when sequence matters; skip it when it doesn't. #### A team workspace built for businesses, not just signatures Audit logs across the org, role-based permissions, and per-user document quotas. Available from the Starter plan upwards. #### Signing order control without configuration overhead Sequential, parallel, or both. Configure the routing once per envelope, and the platform handles the rest. #### Built to be legally robust where it counts Audit trails on every action. Aadhaar eSign for India, powered by licensed eSign Service Providers. ESIGN-ready workflows for US transactions. Built to scale ### The features teams reach for once signing becomes routine. #### Shared templates Save any document with its recipient roles as a reusable template and send it in seconds. Shared templates keep the whole team sending the same, approved paperwork. #### Bulk Send Send one template to up to 500 recipients in a single job. Upload a CSV, map your merge fields, place signature fields once, and Accordsign handles personalised delivery and tracking for every recipient. Available on Business plans. How Bulk Send works #### API & webhooks Run signing from your own systems. Send an envelope from a template or a document you upload, track it, void it, and pull the completed PDF — with signed webhooks the moment a document is viewed, signed or completed. Growth and Enterprise plans, at no extra cost. Read the API docs #### Contact management Your signers, saved. Keep frequent recipients in a built-in address book and drop them into envelopes without retyping a thing. #### Tamper-evident seal Every completed document is cryptographically sealed. Any alteration after signing is detectable, and you can verify a document from your Accordsign account. #### Local compliance built in Aadhaar eSign for India, on every plan and natively inside Salesforce — a signer authenticates with their Aadhaar OTP and a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider applies the signature. ESIGN-ready workflows for US transactions, with a full audit trail wherever you sign. How Aadhaar eSign works #### Works with AI agents Draft, track and fetch signed documents from Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client. Bring your own AI. What counts as one document? One document you send for signature, counted once when you send it — regardless of how many people sign it. A four-party agreement is one document, not four. Two exceptions worth knowing: a Bulk Send creates an individual copy for each recipient, so it uses one document per recipient; and Aadhaar eSign credits are metered separately, per signature. What happens when I reach my plan limit? You get a clear message and the choice to upgrade. Envelopes stay drafted but will not send until your next billing cycle begins or you move to a higher tier. There are no surprise overage charges — we never bill you past your plan for sending more. Existing audit trails and signed PDFs stay accessible throughout, and we email account owners when usage crosses 80% so nothing arrives as a shock. Do signers need an Accordsign account? No. Recipients open a secure link, review the document and sign — no account, no software, no app install. That applies to every plan, including the free trial. How do billing, renewal and cancellation work? Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel a Business plan at any time from your account dashboard; cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current period, and all payments are non-refundable. Credit packs are valid for 12 months from purchase and unused credits are forfeited at the end of that period. The full terms are on our refund policy and terms pages. What is the difference between shared templates and the free template library? Shared templates are a feature inside Accordsign: you save one of your own documents with its signer roles and reuse it, and a Business plan lets the whole team send the same approved version. The free template library is public sample paperwork — NDAs, offer letters, service agreements — that anyone can read and download without an account. Our FAQ page sets the two out side by side. What are Aadhaar eSign credits? Aadhaar eSign lets an Indian signer authenticate with their Aadhaar OTP, producing a signature that is legally valid under Section 3A of the IT Act 2000. Credits are bought separately from your document allowance and are metered per authentication. Upload a document, add your signers, and send. Recipients sign in their browser with no account required — they just open the secure link and sign. The moment each signature lands, you get a notification, and when the envelope is complete you get the signed PDF together with a full, tamper-evident audit trail. The signing flow - 1 #### Upload your document Drop in a PDF or Word file. We convert it to a clean, signable canvas. - 2 #### Add signers, approvers, and CCs Set a signing order when sequence matters; skip it when it doesn't. - 3 #### Place signature, date, and initial fields Drag signature, date, and initial fields onto the page exactly where they belong. - 4 #### Send a secure link Recipients sign in the browser with no account. You get the signed PDF and a full audit trail the moment each signature lands. Recipients never create an account to sign — they open a secure link and sign in the browser, on any device. Why it's legally robust ### An audit trail behind every signature. - #### A tamper-evident audit trail on every envelope Every action is recorded — who signed, what they signed, when, their IP address, and a timestamp. The completed PDF carries that trail, so the signature stays defensible long after the deal closes. - #### ESIGN-ready workflows for US transactions Accordsign's signing flow is built to support the requirements for legally valid electronic signatures under the US ESIGN Act and UETA. - #### Electronic signatures are widely recognised Electronic signatures are legally recognised in most countries for the great majority of business contracts. A small set of document types is excluded by local law — when in doubt about a specific document or jurisdiction, consult a lawyer. Aadhaar eSign lets any of India's 1.4 billion Aadhaar holders place a legally valid digital signature on a document using just their Aadhaar number and a one-time password sent to their Aadhaar-linked mobile. No hardware token, no software install, no in-person verification. It's not the same as a scanned signature — which is just a picture — or a wet signature, which requires physical paper. And it's not a DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) token, which costs ₹1,500–3,000 and needs a USB device. Aadhaar eSign sits between those: stronger than a scan, cheaper than a DSC, legally valid for most contracts. The cryptographic signing is performed by a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider — one of a handful of entities authorised by the Controller of Certifying Authorities, Government of India, to issue digital signatures based on Aadhaar eKYC. Accordsign routes signing requests to a licensed ESP; we don't perform the cryptography ourselves. How Aadhaar eSign works - 1 #### Enter Aadhaar number The signer enters their 12-digit Aadhaar number on the secure signing page. - 2 #### Verify with OTP UIDAI sends a one-time password to the signer's Aadhaar-linked mobile. - 3 #### Document is signed The licensed eSign Service Provider applies the cryptographic signature. - 4 #### Legally valid A tamper-evident, audit-ready signature under the IT Act 2000, Section 3A. Signing is performed by a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider authorised by the Government of India — consistent with the IT Act 2000, Section 3A. What it costs ### ₹20 / $0.25 per signature. Flat. What you cannot sign ### The honest list of where Aadhaar eSign doesn't apply. Indian law excludes a small set of document types from electronic signing — Aadhaar eSign included. Most competitors don't say this out loud. We will. - ! Wills and testamentary documents - ! Negotiable instruments (cheques, promissory notes) — except for specifically regulated cases - ! Powers of attorney for property registration - ! Real-estate sale deeds (state-law dependent — some states require wet signature plus stamp duty) - ! Trust deeds in most states When in doubt, consult a lawyer. Aadhaar eSign is legally valid for most contracts in India, but a small set of document types is excluded by Indian law. The list above isn't exhaustive — your specific use case may have additional constraints under state legislation. Aadhaar eSign vs DSC ### Which signature type do you actually need? Two different tools for two different jobs. Here's the short version. #### Aadhaar eSign Best for B2C contracts and most B2B agreements. No hardware. Signer authenticates with an OTP on their Aadhaar-linked mobile. - ₹20 / $0.25 per signature, flat rate - No hardware, no install - Works on any device with internet - Valid under IT Act 2000 Section 3A #### DSC token Required for GST filings, MCA submissions, government tenders, customs, and IT department uploads. Hardware-based. - ₹1,500–3,000 one-time + annual renewal - USB token required - Only on Windows + specific browsers - Required by Indian government portals Decision rule For HR, sales, vendor, and most internal contracts → Aadhaar eSign. For statutory filings (GST, MCA, customs) → DSC. The compliance story ### Why an Aadhaar eSign on Accordsign holds up in court. Now approved #### OVSE-approved by UIDAI Accordsign is an approved entity under UIDAI's Online Verification Services Enablement framework — the program that authorises platforms to integrate with Aadhaar verification services. - #### Performed by a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider The cryptographic signing is done by one of a handful of entities authorised by the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA), Government of India, to issue digital signatures based on Aadhaar eKYC. Accordsign routes signing requests to a licensed ESP; we never perform the cryptography ourselves. - #### Consistent with the IT Act 2000, Section 3A Section 3A of the Information Technology Act 2000 recognises electronic signatures authenticated with Aadhaar as legally equivalent to handwritten signatures, subject to the rules notified by the Central Government. - #### Admissible as evidence under Indian law Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023 Section 63 (formerly Indian Evidence Act Section 65B) makes Aadhaar-signed electronic records admissible as evidence in Indian courts when accompanied by their audit trail. Accordsign generates that audit trail automatically for every envelope. - #### Aadhaar data never touches Accordsign servers Signers enter their Aadhaar number directly into a form served by the licensed ESP. UIDAI authentication, OTP delivery, and the cryptographic signing all happen at the ESP. Accordsign receives only the signed document and audit trail — never the underlying Aadhaar data. For more on how Accordsign handles data protection, encryption, and access control, see our Security page . Aadhaar eSign is available natively inside Salesforce too — send envelopes from any record without leaving your org. FAQ ### Aadhaar eSign, answered. Is Aadhaar eSign legally valid in India? Yes. Aadhaar eSign is a recognised electronic signature technique under Section 3A of the Information Technology Act 2000, with corresponding evidentiary recognition under Section 63 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023 (formerly Section 65B of the Indian Evidence Act). Aadhaar-signed electronic records are admissible in Indian courts when accompanied by the audit trail issued by the eSign Service Provider. Do I need to link my mobile to my Aadhaar to use this? Yes — the signer must have an active mobile number linked to their Aadhaar in UIDAI's records, because UIDAI delivers the OTP to that mobile. If the linked mobile is unreachable or the link is outdated, the signer cannot complete Aadhaar eSign. Linkage can be updated at any Aadhaar Seva Kendra or via the mAadhaar / myAadhaar portal. What happens if the signer's Aadhaar mobile isn't reachable? The signing attempt fails — UIDAI cannot deliver the OTP, so the document does not get signed. The sender can either follow up with the signer to update their UIDAI mobile linkage, or fall back to a regular signature field (without Aadhaar) if the document does not legally require Aadhaar-level authentication. Can NRIs or non-Indian citizens use Aadhaar eSign? Aadhaar eSign requires a valid Aadhaar number linked to a working mobile. NRIs who hold an Aadhaar and have it linked to a reachable mobile (including international roaming) can use it, but in practice delivery to overseas numbers can be unreliable. Non-Indian citizens without Aadhaar cannot use Aadhaar eSign — they should use the standard signature field, which remains legally valid under the IT Act 2000. That standard eSignature workflow works for signers anywhere in the world, with the same secure link and audit trail, so a missing Aadhaar never blocks anyone from signing. Is my Aadhaar data stored by Accordsign? No. Aadhaar numbers and OTPs never touch Accordsign servers. The signer enters their Aadhaar number directly into a form served by our licensed eSign Service Provider; UIDAI authentication and the cryptographic signing happen entirely at the ESP. Accordsign receives only the signed document and the audit trail, never the underlying Aadhaar data. What's the difference between Aadhaar eSign and Aadhaar eKYC? Aadhaar eKYC verifies identity — it confirms "this person is who they say they are" by checking name, DOB, and photo against UIDAI's records. Aadhaar eSign uses the same authentication step but goes further: it produces a legally valid digital signature on a specific document. Most signing flows perform eKYC first (to verify the signer) and then eSign (to produce the binding signature). More questions about signing, security, and pricing? See the full FAQ . No Aadhaar? No problem ### Signers without Aadhaar can still sign. Aadhaar eSign is for signers who hold an Aadhaar number. For everyone else — NRIs, foreign nationals, and global counterparties — Accordsign's standard eSignature workflow works worldwide: a legally valid electronic signature, sent by a secure link, with a full audit trail on every signature. Every recipient gets their own private copy — never a shared document. Available on Business plans. Bulk Send · Business plans ## One document. Many recipients. Each one their own. Send the same document to up to 500 people at once — personalized to each, and private to each. No shared link, no group thread. Every recipient gets their own copy and sees only their own. See Business plans Talk to our team - Up to 500 recipients per send - A private copy for every recipient - Personalized with merge fields - Business plans What it is ### The same document, sent to everyone — individually. Some documents go to one person. Others go to two hundred. Bulk Send is for the second kind — a permission slip for every parent, a policy acknowledgement for every employee, a circular for every member. You upload the document once and a CSV of recipients alongside it. Accordsign creates an individual document for each person on that list, fills in their details, and sends each one separately. It is not a group send and it is not a shared link. Each recipient opens a document that belongs to them, with their own name on it, their own signature, and their own audit trail. How it works - 1 #### Upload your document The same document everyone will receive — a consent form, a circular, a policy acknowledgement. - 2 #### Add your recipient list Upload a CSV with one row per recipient, along with whatever details you want personalized on their copy, and map those columns to your merge fields. - 3 #### Map your merge fields Name, class, roll number — whatever your document needs. Each field is filled per recipient from your list, so every copy comes out addressed to the right person. - 4 #### Choose how it gets signed Recipients sign their own copy, or your organisation signs once. Pick the one that matches the document. - 5 #### Send — up to 500 at once Every recipient receives their own individual document. You track the whole send from one place, with an audit trail on each copy. Recipients sign with a standard electronic signature — they draw, type, or upload it in the browser. No account needed on their end. Private by design ### Nobody sees anyone else's copy. - #### One document per recipient, visible only to them A parent signing a consent form sees their child's form. Not the class list, not another family's details, not who else has or hasn't signed. The same is true for an employee acknowledging a policy or a member signing an annual declaration. - #### No shared thread, no exposed recipient list This is the failure mode of sending sensitive paperwork by group email — one reply-all, one visible address list, and personal details have travelled further than anyone intended. Bulk Send never puts recipients in the same thread to begin with. - #### An audit trail on every individual copy Each document carries its own record of when it was sent, viewed, and signed — so a completed consent form stands on its own months later, without depending on anyone's memory of the send. Signing options ### Two ways a bulk send can be signed. Not every document needs a signature back. Choose the arrangement that matches what the document is for. #### Recipients sign their own copy Each person signs the document addressed to them. Best for consent forms, permission slips, and policy acknowledgements where you need a signature back from every individual. #### Your organisation signs once You sign the document, and recipients receive and acknowledge their copy. Best for issued documents — circulars, notices, and letters that go out under your signature. Signatures on a bulk send are standard electronic signatures — recipients draw, type, or upload their signature in the browser, on any device, without creating an account. Who it's for ### Built for the paperwork that goes to everyone. #### Schools and education Permission slips, consent forms, parent circulars, and student documents — sent to an entire class, year group, or school in one go, each addressed to the right child and parent. #### HR and people teams Policy acknowledgements, handbook updates, and annual declarations — one document, every employee, each signing their own copy. #### Membership bodies and societies Member circulars, annual consents, and society communications — reaching every member individually rather than as a group thread. #### Any "same document, many people" send Whenever the document is identical but the person receiving it is not, Bulk Send is the shape that fits. Multi-party agreements are a different shape — several people signing one document rather than each receiving their own. That's covered in our guide to multi-party signing . We're working toward an AppExchange listing. In the meantime, the managed package is production-ready — currently used by IT services and financial services teams in India for live contract execution. Why not AppExchange yet? AppExchange listing requires going through Salesforce's security review and certification process — a multi-month effort. We're prioritising product improvements and customer onboarding first. AppExchange listing is on the roadmap. What the integration does ### The actual capabilities, no marketing fluff. - Send envelopes from any Salesforce object (standard or custom) - Real-time status sync (Sent · Viewed · Signed · Declined · Completed) - Signed PDF attached automatically to the source record as a Content Document - Audit trail accessible from inside Salesforce - Aadhaar eSign available natively from inside Salesforce - Per-object configurable page layouts - Works in Lightning Experience (Salesforce Classic not supported) Why Accordsign for Salesforce ### Three reasons over the obvious alternatives. #### Native Lightning, not iframes Built in Lightning Web Components. Listing on AppExchange requires going through Salesforce's security review and certification process — a multi-month effort. We're prioritising product improvements and customer onboarding first. AppExchange listing is on the roadmap but we don't have a committed date. The managed package install we use today is the same mechanism Salesforce ISVs use during their pre-AppExchange phase. Is the managed package safe to install? Yes. Managed packages are a standard Salesforce distribution mechanism. Code runs inside your org with permissions you grant during install. Nothing we install touches data outside the Salesforce objects you've connected to Accordsign. You can uninstall at any time from Setup → Installed Packages. Do I need a separate Accordsign account? Yes. The Salesforce app connects to your Accordsign account — it doesn't replace one. If you don't have an Accordsign account yet, we'll set one up as part of the install conversation. Can I send from custom objects? Yes. Standard or custom, the configuration is the same — add the "Send for Signature" action to the page layout. Does the app work in Salesforce Classic? No. Accordsign for Salesforce is Lightning-only. If your team is still on Classic, we recommend a Classic-to-Lightning migration first — it'll unlock a lot more than just Accordsign. OpenAPI spec Connect an AI agent Plans with API access API contract 1.11.0 Scope ### What it does. Enough to run signing end to end from your own systems: create the envelope, place the fields, send it, watch it, and collect the finished document. The one thing worth planning around is that there is no sandbox — every key is a live key. #### Create and send an envelope From one of your templates, filling each role with a real recipient — or ad hoc from a document you upload. Both modes place the fields in the request itself. #### Place fields by coordinate x and y as a percentage of the page, width and height in pixels against the dimensions the documents endpoint reports. Every signer needs at least one field. #### Create a draft that is never sent From text, or a PDF or DOCX — up to 2 MB inline in the request, or larger if you upload it first. Nothing is sent, no fields are placed and no document allowance is used — a person opens it in Accordsign, places the fields and sends it. A draft that times out while its document is prepared resumes when you retry with the same Idempotency-Key. #### Upload a document A PDF or DOCX up to 20 MB. Processing is asynchronous: poll until the document is ready, then send it or create a draft from it. Each upload is used once. #### Discard a draft Deletes a draft created through the API, with its document. Nothing is sent. Drafts made in the app and envelopes already sent cannot be discarded — void a sent one instead. #### Read envelope and recipient status List envelopes with cursor pagination and filters, or fetch one envelope with per-recipient state, roles, sequence and timestamps, including when it completed. #### Count envelopes by status One call returns a total and a count for every status across the whole account, zeros included, so you never page the full list just to count it. #### Void an envelope Cancel before completion. Anyone who still owed an action is emailed, and signatures already collected are kept as a record. #### Pull the certificate and the sealed PDF The ordered audit trail for a completed envelope, and the final sealed document once it exists. Aadhaar envelopes carry the eSign provider's seal rather than ours. #### Receive signed webhooks HMAC-signed events pushed to your endpoint on all seven envelope events, with endpoint management and secret rotation through the API. #### Not available through the API Stated openly so you can plan around it rather than discover it mid-build. - A sandbox or test mode. Keys are live keys. - Creating or editing templates - Bulk Send - SDKs, client libraries or a Postman collection — the MCP connector below is an agent tool, not a client library - OAuth, user-scoped tokens or per-key scopes - Aadhaar eSign is not available through the Public API or the MCP connector. Aadhaar envelopes are sent from the web app or the Salesforce package. - Drafts from a template are not available through the Public API. Sending from a template is; a draft starts from text, or a PDF or DOCX. Quickstart ### Five minutes, start to first webhook. - #### 1 · Create a key In the Accordsign app go to Account → API keys and create one. Only the account owner can do this. The key is shown once and stored as a hash, so copy it then — it cannot be recovered. Up to five live keys per account, and revoking one takes effect immediately. - #### 2 · Check you can reach the API No key needed for this one. curl https://api.accordsign.app/v1/health {"status":"ok"} - #### 3 · List your envelopes Authenticate with a bearer token. Watch the X-RateLimit-* headers on the response — they are on every response, not just refusals. curl "https://api.accordsign.app/v1/envelopes?limit=5" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer as_live_YOUR_KEY" Returns { data: [...], next_cursor, has_more }. Filter with status, from_date and to_date; page with cursor. limit accepts 1–100 and defaults to 25. - #### 4 · Read one envelope curl https://api.accordsign.app/v1/envelopes/ENVELOPE_ID \ -H "Authorization: Bearer as_live_YOUR_KEY" You get the envelope plus a recipients[] array with each person's role, status, sequence and last event. An envelope belonging to another account returns 404 rather than 403, so ids cannot be probed. - #### 5 · Register a webhook and watch it fire Register one HTTPS endpoint per account, either from the app or with POST /v1/webhooks. Store the whsec_ secret it returns — it is shown at registration and at rotation, and never again. Then send a document from the web app and watch envelope.sent → envelope.viewed → envelope.signed → envelope.completed arrive. Webhooks ### Events and verification. Event | Fires when | Recipient envelope.sent | An envelope was dispatched and its signing requests went out — whether sent through the API, from the app, or as one envelope of a Bulk Send. Envelopes sent through the Salesforce package do not emit this event. | no envelope.viewed | A recipient opens the signing link for the first time. Once per recipient. | yes envelope.signed | A recipient completes their part. Once per recipient. | yes envelope.declined | A recipient declines. | yes envelope.voided | The sender revoked the envelope before it completed. Terminal. | no envelope.completed | The last required signature landed and the final document exists. | no envelope.expired | The envelope passed its expiry without completing. | no #### Verifying the signature Every delivery carries X-AccordSign-Signature: t=,v1=. The signature is HMAC-SHA256 of "{t}.{raw body}", keyed with your endpoint secret, lowercase hex. Verify against the raw bytes — re-serialising the JSON changes them. Timestamps outside a five-minute tolerance are rejected in both directions. import hashlib, hmac, time def verify(raw_body: bytes, header: str, secret: str) -> bool: parts = dict(p.split("=", 1) for p in header.split(",")) if abs(int(time.time()) - int(parts["t"])) > 300: return False expected = hmac.new( secret.encode(), f'{parts["t"]}.'.encode() + raw_body, hashlib.sha256, ).hexdigest() return hmac.compare_digest(expected, parts["v1"]) #### Delivery, retries and disablement Return any 2xx within ten seconds once you have durably accepted the event. Anything else counts as a failed attempt. We retry ten times on a fixed schedule — immediately, then +1m, +5m, +15m, +30m, +1h, +2h, +4h, +8h, +8h — about 24 hours end to end. Returning 410 Gone stops retries for that delivery at once. When the budget is exhausted the endpoint is disabled and the account owner is emailed; re-enabling does not replay missed events, so reconcile with the envelopes list. Delivery is at-least-once and order is not guaranteed. De-duplicate on the event id, which is stable for a given transition. Endpoints must be absolute HTTPS URLs resolving to a public address. Rate limits ### A hard limit per minute, per key. - Growth: 60 requests per minute. Enterprise: 180. Counted per API key. - The window is a fixed clock minute in UTC — the counter resets at the top of each minute. It is not a sliding window or a token bucket. - X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset (seconds until reset) appear on every response. - Over the limit you get 429 with Retry-After. It is a hard block, not a throttle: nothing is queued or slowed, and every request is refused until the minute rolls over. - A send consumes one document from the key owner's allowance, the same as sending from the app. A send that fails before dispatch is refunded automatically. Reads and webhook deliveries consume no document quota. AI agents ### Connect an AI agent. Accordsign does not include an AI. Connect the one you already use. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector is a small local server that lets Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client that runs local stdio servers read your envelopes and create drafts, using your own API key. #### Install dotnet tool install --global accordsign-mcp Copy View on NuGet #### You will need - The .NET 8 SDK - An Accordsign API key, created by the account owner - A Growth or Enterprise plan #### Configure Claude Desktop Add this to claude_desktop_config.json, replacing the path with your own home folder and the placeholder with your key. On Windows the command is %USERPROFILE%\.dotnet\tools\accordsign-mcp.exe. { "mcpServers": { "accordsign": { "command": "/Users/YOUR_NAME/.dotnet/tools/accordsign-mcp", "env": { "ACCORDSIGN_API_KEY": "as_live_your_key_here", "ACCORDSIGN_API_BASE": "https://api.accordsign.app/v1" } } } } ACCORDSIGN_API_KEY Required. Your API key. ACCORDSIGN_API_BASE Optional. Defaults to production; leave it unset unless you have been told otherwise. #### The seven tools Tool | What it does | Writes? list_envelopes | Lists envelopes, newest first, filterable by status. | No get_envelope | One envelope in full: status, each recipient's state, timestamps. | No summary_envelopes | Counts every envelope on the account by status, in one call. | No list_templates | Lists your reusable templates and the roles each one expects. | No get_document | Saves the sealed PDF of a completed envelope to a path on your computer. | No create_draft | Creates a draft from text, or from a PDF or Word file up to 20 MB. Sends nothing and places no fields. | Yes discard_draft | Discards a draft this connector created. Nothing else. | Yes #### Limits - Cannot send or void - Discards only drafts it created - Document fetch is for completed envelopes only - Drafts still need a person to place fields and send #### Setup notes - Point your client at the absolute path ~/.dotnet/tools/accordsign-mcp, or add that folder to your PATH. MCP clients launch the server themselves and do not always inherit your shell's PATH. - After editing the Claude Desktop config, quit Claude Desktop completely and relaunch it. Closing the window is not enough. - Update to the latest release with dotnet tool update --global accordsign-mcp. - The connector runs on your own computer. It is not available in the Claude web or mobile apps, and it cannot read files you attach to a chat. Envelope details the connector reads are passed to your AI client and its provider under that provider's terms. Documents it fetches are saved to your computer rather than returned to the AI client directly. Accordsign does not see or process your documents with any AI. Available on Growth and Enterprise plans, with a key created by the account owner. ### Common questions. Can I send an envelope through the API? Yes. POST /v1/envelopes creates and sends one, either from a template — filling each role with a real recipient — or ad hoc from a document you upload first. Both modes place the fields in the request, positioned as a percentage of the page, and every signer needs at least one field or the request is refused. Send an Idempotency-Key header and retries are safe: a replay returns the original envelope rather than sending a second one. Which plans include API access? Growth and Enterprise. A key created on an eligible plan will start returning 403 on every call if the account is later downgraded to Starter, Individual or a trial. Is there a sandbox? No. There is no self-serve sandbox and no test mode. Keys are live keys, and a send through one is a real envelope emailed to a real recipient. Test against an address you control. Do API calls use up my document allowance? Sending does. Each send through the API consumes one document from the key owner's allowance, exactly as sending from the app does, and a send that fails before dispatch is refunded automatically. Reads, webhook deliveries and certificate or document downloads consume nothing. The other limit that applies is the per-minute request rate for your plan. Can I connect an AI agent instead of writing code? Yes, through the MCP connector described above. Accordsign does not include an AI. Connect the one you already use. The connector can read envelopes, create drafts and discard the drafts it created, but cannot send or void anything. The main FAQ covers what an agent can and cannot do with your account. Read the AI agent questions in the FAQ What happens if my webhook endpoint is down? We retry ten times over roughly 24 hours on a fixed schedule. If all attempts fail the delivery is abandoned, your endpoint is disabled and the account owner is emailed. Re-enabling does not replay the missed events — reconcile with a call to the envelopes list. ### Start with the spec. The OpenAPI document is public and authoritative — no key required to read it. We're building Accordsign with the security posture our customers expect from a contract-signing platform. This page documents exactly what's in place today — and what we're still working on. Trust & safety ### Verified email senders — and how to spot a fake. Phishing emails often impersonate signing platforms to trick people into opening malicious links or handing over credentials. Here's exactly how to tell a genuine Accordsign email from an impersonation. #### The only addresses we send from Accordsign sends document and signing requests from exactly two addresses. Anything else claiming to be us is not genuine. - signrequest@accordsign.email Document and signature requests. - connect@accordsign.app Account, product, and general communication. Check the full address, not just the display name — the domain must be accordsign.email or accordsign.app . Look-alike domains (extra words, different spellings, other endings) are not us. #### How to tell it's really us - The sender is one of the two addresses above. - Signing links point to sign.accordsign.app — hover to check before you click. - You were expecting a document from the sender named in the email. #### We will never ask you to - Share your password, OTP, or Aadhaar number by email or over the phone. - Sign in through a link that goes anywhere other than accordsign.app. - Pay, or download an attachment, to "release" a document. #### Think an email is a fake? Don't click any links or open attachments. Forward the suspicious email to connect@accordsign.app and we'll confirm whether it's genuine. When in doubt, go directly to sign.accordsign.app and sign in there rather than following an email link. Infrastructure ### Hosted in India, with documents encrypted and stored on Microsoft Azure. #### Hosted in India Hosted in India. Documents are securely encrypted and stored on Microsoft Azure. Azure holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications covering that storage layer. We do not claim any application-level certification of our own, and we do not present Azure's certifications as ours. #### Encryption in transit and at rest All traffic to and from Accordsign uses TLS 1.2 or higher. Document and metadata storage at rest is encrypted with AES-256 via Azure Storage Service Encryption. #### Indian data residency Documents are stored in Azure Central India, with Azure South India for failover. Customer data does not leave the country during normal operations. #### Backups, recovery, and DDoS Daily encrypted backups with 30-day retention. Backups are encrypted independently from production keys. Application security ### Documents stay locked to the people they're meant for. #### Document access control Documents are stored encrypted in Azure Blob Storage and served only through authenticated requests. Every fetch verifies the requester's ownership server-side — knowing a document URL is not enough to access the document. #### Authentication JWT for API access, cookie-based sessions for the web app, optional Google OAuth single sign-on. Sessions expire automatically. Passwords are hashed; password-reset tokens are single-use and time-limited. #### Audit logging Every action — upload, send, view, sign, decline, download — is logged with timestamp, IP address, device, and authentication method. Audit trails are tamper-evident and downloadable as a separate PDF alongside the signed document. #### Third-party data handling We share customer data only with the service providers strictly required to deliver the service: Microsoft Azure (document storage), SendGrid (transactional email), Razorpay (payments), and the CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider (Aadhaar signing). No data is logged, sold, or shared with anyone else. Signing security ### The signature itself is what matters most. The cryptography behind Aadhaar eSign happens at a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider — never on Accordsign servers. Full flow on the Aadhaar eSign page . #### Aadhaar data isolation Cryptographic signing is performed entirely by a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider. Accordsign servers never see, store, or process Aadhaar numbers or biometric data — that exchange happens directly between the signer and the licensed ESP. #### Document hash for tamper detection Every signed document includes a SHA-256 hash recorded in the audit trail. Anyone with the signed PDF can verify at any future point that the file has not been altered since it was signed. #### Signing order enforcement When sequential signing is required, order is enforced at the server level. Recipients cannot sign out of order even if they share the document link with each other. #### Signer identity verification Signers receive a unique, single-use signing link by email. For high-trust workflows, Aadhaar OTP authentication verifies the signer's identity before signing completes — see the Aadhaar eSign page for the full flow. Compliance ### Where Accordsign stands today — precisely. We use precise language about compliance. FAQ ## Questions, answered. How Accordsign works, what Aadhaar eSign means for you, pricing, security, Salesforce and AI agents — the things people ask most before they sign up. ### Getting started What is Accordsign? Accordsign is an eSignature platform that lets you send documents and get them signed securely, with a full audit trail on every document. It includes Aadhaar eSign for Indian signers and works natively inside Salesforce. How does signing work? You upload a document, add your signers, place the signature and other fields, and send. Signers receive a secure link and sign from their device — no account needed to sign. When everyone has signed, you get the completed document with its audit trail. Do signers need an account to sign? No. Signers receive a secure link and can sign without creating an Accordsign account. ### Aadhaar eSign Is Aadhaar eSign legally valid? Yes. Aadhaar eSign is recognised as a valid electronic signature under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Aadhaar-signed records are admissible with their audit trail. Accordsign provides Aadhaar eSign via licensed eSign Service Providers. See how Aadhaar eSign works . Who can use Aadhaar eSign? Anyone with an Aadhaar number and an Aadhaar-linked mobile can sign using an OTP — no hardware or software to install. Does Accordsign store Aadhaar numbers? The Aadhaar authentication is performed through licensed eSign Service Providers. Accordsign is designed so that full Aadhaar numbers are not stored on its systems. Can people without an Aadhaar sign? Yes. Signers without an Aadhaar — for example NRIs or foreign counterparties — can use the standard electronic signature workflow, which is valid worldwide for most business documents. More on global e-signatures . Is Aadhaar eSign available outside India? Aadhaar eSign is for signers with an Aadhaar number and is used in India. Every other Accordsign capability is available worldwide. ### Bulk Send What is Bulk Send? Bulk Send lets you send the same document to many people at once, personalized to each one. Instead of a shared document or a group thread, every recipient gets their own individual copy — addressed to them, signed by them, with its own audit trail. See how Bulk Send works . Can each recipient see the other recipients? No. Each person receives their own copy of the document and sees only their own. There is no shared thread and no visible recipient list. How many people can I send to at once? Up to 500 recipients per send. How do I personalize each copy? Merge fields — for example name, class, or roll number — are filled in per recipient from the list you upload, so each copy comes out addressed to the right person. Does everyone have to sign, or can we just send documents out? Either. Recipients can sign their own copy, or your organisation signs once and recipients receive and acknowledge their copy. Signing uses the standard electronic signature — recipients draw, type, or upload their signature in the browser. Which plans include Bulk Send? Bulk Send is a Business-plan feature — included on Starter, Growth, and Enterprise. Compare Business plans . ### Templates and contacts What is the difference between shared templates and your free template library? They are two different things. Shared templates are a feature inside Accordsign: you save one of your own documents together with its signer roles and reuse it in seconds, and everyone on your team sends the same approved version. The free template library is public sample paperwork — NDAs, offer letters, service agreements — that anyone can read and download without an account. Which plans include shared team templates? Reusable templates are available on every plan. Sharing them across a workspace, so the whole team sends the same approved version, is a Business-plan feature — included on Starter, Growth, and Enterprise. Compare plans . What is contact management? A built-in address book for the people you send documents to. Keep frequent recipients saved and add them to an envelope without retyping their details, which also removes the commonest cause of a document quietly going to the wrong address. Which plans include contact management? Every plan, Individual and Business alike. ### Pricing How much does Accordsign cost? Accordsign offers pay-as-you-go Individual pricing (buy document credits, no subscription) and per-user Business plans (Starter and Growth) with more collaboration features. Current pricing is on our pricing page . Is there a subscription lock-in? The Individual plan is pay-as-you-go with no subscription. Business plans are monthly or annual per-user, with an annual saving. Is there a free way to try it? Yes. Try it free — 3 documents, 14 days, no card required. See the pricing page to get started. ### Security & compliance Is my document secure? Documents are encrypted, and every signed document carries a tamper-evident audit trail recording who signed, when, and from where. More on how we handle security . What is the audit trail? A record attached to each document capturing the signing events — signer identity, action, timestamp and related metadata — so a completed document can be relied upon. ### Salesforce & templates Does Accordsign work with Salesforce? Yes — Accordsign is a native Salesforce managed package, so you can send documents for signature directly from a Salesforce record. Explore the Salesforce app . Can I reuse templates? Yes. You can build reusable signing templates on any plan for your own use; on Business plans you can share templates across your workspace. Compare plans . Do you offer free document templates? Yes — a free library of NDAs, agreements, offer letters and more is available to download. Browse free templates . ### AI agents Does Accordsign have AI built in? No. Accordsign does not include an AI. Connect the one you already use. The MCP connector lets an AI client such as Claude or Cursor read your envelopes and create drafts, using your own API key. What can an AI agent do with my Accordsign account? Through the connector it has seven tools: it can list and read envelopes, count them by status, list templates, save the sealed PDF of a completed envelope to your computer, create a draft from text or from a PDF or Word file, and discard a draft it created. It cannot send or void anything, and it cannot discard any other envelope. A draft it creates still needs a person to open it in Accordsign, place the fields and send it. Which plans include the MCP connector? Growth and Enterprise. The connector authenticates with an API key, which only the account owner can create, and it follows the same plans as the API. Still have a question? Email connect@accordsign.app , or browse our free templates and pricing . ### Ready to sign? Try it free — 3 documents, 14 days, no card required. Each one states how the other platform bills, links their own pricing page rather than quoting numbers that go stale, and says plainly where they are the better choice. - Accordsign vs ### DocuSign Choose DocuSign if you need the largest integration ecosystem or your procurement process already runs on it. Choose Accordsign if you send irregularly, have more occasional senders than heavy ones, or need Aadhaar eSign switched on rather than built. Read the comparison - Accordsign vs ### Zoho Sign If your company runs on Zoho, use Zoho Sign — signing should live where your work lives, which is exactly the argument we make about Salesforce. Choose Accordsign if you are on Salesforce, want document packs instead of seats, or are not in the Zoho ecosystem at all. Read the comparison - Accordsign vs ### Dropbox Sign Choose Dropbox Sign if a few people send high volume and you live in Dropbox already. Choose Accordsign if you need Aadhaar eSign, want to send from inside Salesforce, or would rather buy documents than seats. Read the comparison The short version ### Every one of these comes down to two numbers. Count the people who need to send documents, and the documents you actually send in a month. A seat model bills the first number every month regardless of the second. Accordsign's document packs bill only the second; its per-user Business plans bill the first, with a monthly document allowance and no overages. Whichever fits your numbers is the cheaper option — and if it is not us, we would rather you worked that out now than after a year of invoices. Our prices are published in full on the pricing page , including what Aadhaar eSign credits cost. We do not publish anyone else's — those change, and a stale figure helps nobody. Including where DocuSign is the better choice. Accordsign vs DocuSign ## Looking for a DocuSign alternative? DocuSign is the category leader and it earned that position. This page is an honest account of where Accordsign fits better, where DocuSign still wins, and how to work out which is cheaper for the way your team actually signs. The short answer Choose DocuSign if you need the largest integration ecosystem or your procurement process already runs on it. Choose Accordsign if you send irregularly, have more occasional senders than heavy ones, or need Aadhaar eSign switched on rather than built. How the billing differs ### They bill for people. We bill for documents. #### DocuSign Per-user subscription, with an envelope allowance attached to each seat. Their published plan documentation describes allowances in the order of a hundred envelopes per user per year on annual plans, or ten per user per month on monthly plans, with overage charges beyond that. Higher tiers lift the limit on sends made through the web app while still metering automation sends, which includes bulk sending and API traffic. That means two separate bills to think about: how many people can send, and how much they are allowed to send. A colleague who sends three contracts a year still needs a seat, and a busy month can run into the allowance. #### Accordsign Pay per document. Individuals buy document packs with no subscription at all; teams take a Business plan with a document allowance. Adding signers to a document never multiplies its cost. Aadhaar eSign credits are billed separately, per signature. We deliberately publish no prices for DocuSign here — they change, and a stale number helps nobody. Their current pricing is on their own pricing page . Model details above checked August 2026. Ours are all on our pricing page . ### Side by side. Verify anything decisive on their site before you choose. The honest column ### Where DocuSign is the better choice. If one of these is your situation, take it seriously. We would rather lose the deal than have you discover this in month three. #### The integration ecosystem is unmatched Hundreds of prebuilt integrations and a partner network we cannot match. If your stack has an unusual corner, DocuSign has probably already been connected to it. #### Procurement already knows the name In large organisations, "we use DocuSign" ends a conversation that "we use Accordsign" would start. That is a real cost and we are not going to pretend otherwise. #### Depth at genuine enterprise scale Advanced agreement workflows, deep compliance tooling, and global infrastructure built for very large deployments. If that is your requirement, take it seriously. Where we fit better ### Where Accordsign is the better choice. #### Document packs, not headcount With document packs there is no seat to buy for the person who sends four contracts a year. Occasional senders cost nothing until they send something. #### Aadhaar eSign is switched on, not built Aadhaar signing is available on every Accordsign plan, performed through a CCA-licensed provider under Section 3A of the IT Act. No integration project, no support case. #### Every price is on the page Including what Aadhaar credits cost. You can work out your annual spend without booking a call. Work it out yourself ### Two numbers decide this. ### Common questions. Is Accordsign cheaper than DocuSign? It depends entirely on your shape. Our document packs bill per document with no seat, and our Business plans bill per user with a monthly document allowance and no overages; they bill per user seat with an envelope allowance. If you have several occasional senders and modest volume, document packs usually cost less. If you have a small number of people sending very high volume, a seat with a large allowance can be better value. Count your senders and your monthly documents and compare — we would rather you did the arithmetic than took our word for it. Can I migrate my templates from DocuSign? There is no automatic import. You upload your documents to Accordsign and save them as templates with their signer roles, which for most teams is an afternoon rather than a project. If you have hundreds of templates, tell us before you commit and we will be straight with you about the effort. Does DocuSign support Aadhaar eSign? DocuSign documents an integration path with eMudhra, a licensed certifying authority, which a customer builds and configures. Accordsign includes Aadhaar eSign natively on every plan with no integration work. Verify the current position on DocuSign's own site if this is decisive for you. ### Try it on your own paperwork. Both support Aadhaar eSign — here is what actually differs. Accordsign vs Zoho Sign ## Looking for a Zoho Sign alternative? Zoho Sign is a capable product and, like us, it supports Aadhaar eSign. So the differences are narrower here than most comparison pages would admit. This is where they genuinely lie. The short answer If your company runs on Zoho, use Zoho Sign — signing should live where your work lives, which is exactly the argument we make about Salesforce. Choose Accordsign if you are on Salesforce, want document packs instead of seats, or are not in the Zoho ecosystem at all. How the billing differs ### They bill for people. We bill for documents. #### Zoho Sign Per-user subscription. Upper tiers allow unlimited documents sent through the web and mobile apps, while a credits system meters certain advanced capabilities and integrations. The free tier is limited to a handful of documents a month. Unlimited sending per seat is genuinely good if your senders are few and busy. It is poor value if you have a dozen people who each send occasionally, because every one of them needs a paid seat. #### Accordsign Pay per document. Individuals buy document packs with no subscription at all; teams take a Business plan with a document allowance. Adding signers to a document never multiplies its cost. Aadhaar eSign credits are billed separately, per signature. We deliberately publish no prices for Zoho Sign here — they change, and a stale number helps nobody. Verify anything decisive on their site before you choose. The honest column ### Where Zoho Sign is the better choice. If one of these is your situation, take it seriously. We would rather lose the deal than have you discover this in month three. #### If you already run on Zoho, it is the obvious choice Signing that lives inside CRM, Books, People and Desk without a connector is worth more than any pricing argument we could make. This is the same reasoning we use for Salesforce, and it applies just as honestly here. #### Unlimited sending suits concentrated volume If two or three people do all the sending and they do a lot of it, a seat with unlimited sends can beat document packs outright. #### A very large product suite behind it Zoho ships an enormous catalogue of business software. If you want one vendor for many things, that is a real advantage. Where we fit better ### Where Accordsign is the better choice. #### Native to Salesforce, not connected to it Our managed package puts envelope and recipient status in your own org as Salesforce objects you can report on and trigger Flows from — not a synced copy from an outside platform. #### No seat for the occasional sender Spread-out sending across many people is the case seats handle worst and document packs handle best. #### A smaller surface to learn Accordsign does signing. There is no suite to adopt and nothing else to configure before you can send a contract. Work it out yourself ### Two numbers decide this. ### Common questions. Does Zoho Sign support Aadhaar eSign? Yes. Zoho Sign supports Aadhaar eSign through eMudhra, a licensed certifying authority. On this specific capability the two products are comparable, and we are not going to claim a difference that does not exist. The differences that do matter are the billing model and the Salesforce integration. We use Zoho CRM. Should we switch? Probably not. If your work already lives in Zoho, keeping signing inside it is worth more than the billing difference for most teams. We would rather tell you that than sell you a migration you regret. What if we use both Salesforce and Zoho? Then the question is where the contracts actually originate. If they come out of Salesforce records, our managed package will fit your workflow better. If they come out of Zoho, theirs will. ### Try it on your own paperwork. Try it free — 3 documents, 14 days, no card required. Send something real and see whether it fits before you move anything. Accordsign vs Dropbox Sign ## Looking for a Dropbox Sign alternative? Dropbox Sign, formerly HelloSign, is a clean and well-built product with a good developer story. The two places it fits Indian businesses least well are its billing model and its India coverage. The short answer Choose Dropbox Sign if a few people send high volume and you live in Dropbox already. Choose Accordsign if you need Aadhaar eSign, want to send from inside Salesforce, or would rather buy documents than seats. How the billing differs ### They bill for people. We bill for documents. #### Dropbox Sign Per-user subscription with unlimited signature requests on paid seats — a genuinely generous allowance model. Their published plans cover a small number of users, above which pricing moves to a sales conversation. The free tier is limited to a few sends a month. Unlimited-per-seat is the strongest version of the seat model, and against concentrated volume it is hard to beat. The weakness is the same as every seat model: people who send rarely still cost a full seat, and growing past the published tiers means a call. #### Accordsign Pay per document. Individuals buy document packs with no subscription at all; teams take a Business plan with a document allowance. Adding signers to a document never multiplies its cost. Aadhaar eSign credits are billed separately, per signature. We deliberately publish no prices for Dropbox Sign here — they change, and a stale number helps nobody. Their current pricing is on their own pricing page . Model details above checked August 2026. Ours are all on our pricing page . ### Side by side. Verify anything decisive on their site before you choose. The honest column ### Where Dropbox Sign is the better choice. If one of these is your situation, take it seriously. We would rather lose the deal than have you discover this in month three. #### Unlimited sending on a seat is hard to beat If three people send hundreds of documents a month, a seat with no send limit will very likely cost you less than buying those documents. That is straightforward arithmetic and it goes their way. #### A well-regarded developer experience Their API and documentation have a strong reputation. If you are embedding signing into your own product today, that matters. #### Native to Dropbox storage If your documents already live in Dropbox, keeping signing in the same place removes a step. Where we fit better ### Where Accordsign is the better choice. #### Aadhaar eSign for Indian signers Legally valid Aadhaar signing under Section 3A of the IT Act, on every plan, performed through a CCA-licensed provider. For Indian contracts where identity assurance matters, this is the difference that decides it. #### Send from inside Salesforce A native managed package rather than an external connector, with envelope status as objects in your own org. #### Prices stay published as you grow You do not hit a user count that turns pricing into a sales conversation. Work it out yourself ### Two numbers decide this. ### Common questions. Does Dropbox Sign support Aadhaar eSign? Aadhaar eSign is an India-specific technique notified under the IT Act, and it is not part of Dropbox Sign's offering as far as we can establish. If Aadhaar signing is a requirement, verify the current position on their own site before deciding — capabilities change. Is Dropbox Sign cheaper for high volume? It can be, and we will say so plainly. Unlimited sends on a paid seat is very strong if a small number of people do all your sending. Document packs win when sending is spread across many people who each send occasionally. Is Dropbox Sign the same as HelloSign? Yes. HelloSign was acquired by Dropbox and rebranded as Dropbox Sign. ### Try it on your own paperwork. Try it free — 3 documents, 14 days, no card required. Please don't write ### Five things that get written about us that are not true. Some of these are flattering. We would still rather they were not printed, because a claim we cannot stand behind costs more than one we can. - Accordsign is SOC 2 certified Accordsign is architected to SOC 2 standards. It has not completed an independent SOC 2 audit, and describing it as certified is inaccurate. - Accordsign issues Aadhaar signatures The cryptographic signature is applied by a CCA-licensed eSign Service Provider. Accordsign is OVSE-approved under UIDAI’s Online Verification Services Enablement framework; it is not the certifying authority. - Accordsign is the only platform with Aadhaar eSign It is not. Other platforms reach Aadhaar eSign through a licensed provider too. What differs is that it is included on every Accordsign plan rather than being an integration a customer builds. - You can try the API in a sandbox before going live There is no sandbox and no test mode. Every API key is a live key acting on real envelopes, and a send through the API consumes a document from the plan exactly as sending from the app does. - Bulk Send is cheaper per recipient A Bulk Send creates a separate copy for every recipient and uses one document from the plan per recipient. Per-document billing is an advantage against seat-based pricing generally, but it does not make bulk sending cheap. Contact ### One inbox, monitored by a person. About Accordsign ## We got tired of overpriced e-signature software. So we built what we actually wanted: legally valid e-signature for businesses anywhere, priced by the document instead of the seat — and, for India, with Aadhaar eSign included on every plan. The story ### Why we built Accordsign. We started Accordsign because the eSignature market had settled into two kinds of product: enterprise tools priced for Fortune 500 budgets, and free-tier tools that fall over the moment a signature has to hold up. Neither works for a business that sends a handful of contracts a week and needs every one of them to stand. We started where we were. India has 36 million small businesses, most of them signing on paper or on trust, and the tools sold to them either ignored Indian law or charged extra for it. Building for that market first is why Aadhaar eSign is on every plan rather than an enterprise add-on. It is not a limit on who the product is for — customers sign under the US ESIGN Act and UETA, under India's IT Act 2000, and under the equivalent frameworks elsewhere. So we built Accordsign with three commitments: - Indian compliance, not bolted on. Aadhaar eSign is included on every plan. Not an enterprise upsell. Not a separate product. A signature option you can pick at any time, for ₹20 / $0.25 . - Transparent pricing. ₹200 / $5 for a 5-document pack. ₹20 / $0.25 for an Aadhaar signature. No "contact sales" gates on the small-business tier. - The simplicity of consumer software. If a freelancer signing their first NDA can't figure it out in 30 seconds, we built it wrong. We're builders, not sellers. Our team is small. Our infrastructure is professional. Our prices are deliberately uncomfortable for incumbents. We're not chasing the Fortune 500. We're trying to make signing accessible for the 36 million Indian businesses, the freelancers building their first contracts, and the founders sending their first offer letter. What we believe ### Four things we keep coming back to. #### Signing should be the boring part Contracts matter. Signing them shouldn't be the hardest part of closing a deal. We've optimised Accordsign for the boring case — send, sign, done — because that's what 95% of contracts actually need. #### Compliance shouldn't cost more than the product "Aadhaar eSign is an enterprise feature" is something only a non-Indian company would say. We bundled it into every plan because in India, it should just be there. #### SMBs deserve the same uptime as enterprises We run one grade of platform. The freelancer's NDA goes through the same infrastructure as the largest customer's contract. No fast lane, no slow lane. #### If you're not sure whether something is legal, ask The eSign space is full of vague compliance claims. We try to say specifically which Indian law makes which type of signing valid. If you spot us getting it wrong, tell us — we'll fix it. The team ### A small team, all in one room. Engineers, product designers, and customer support — all in one office, all on the same Slack channel. When you email support, a human reads it. When you find a bug, an engineer fixes it. When a feature request comes in, we actually consider it. Contact ### Two inboxes. Both monitored.
